This is a accurately detailed conversion kit for the 1/48 Hasbro hero falcon model, using the original model detailed parts that were used on the movie miniature, to create this beautiful model. All model detail was painstakingly researched and all tiny parts were moulded and cast in a high shrink rate acrylic to reduce the scale of the detail part. To reduce all the parts in size used on the original, up from 1/43 to 1/48 The basis on of the hull was the Disney Hasbro vinyl toy, which believe it or not, is exactly proportionately accurate the original, other than its slightly smaller scale -1/48. Over 35 individual model kits were used to find the correct parts in making this model. Up to 90% of all main detail has been recreated using all original model kits parts that were used on the original.
