These Special Effects illuminators twinkle/flicker. I have white, warm white, blue, red, green, yellow/amber, orange and UV purple. You can have any of these colors just let me know. White is the default color if you don't pick any others. You get 8 packs of clear end glow fiber optic fiber fiber.

1 pack each: 300 feet of 0.25mm, 200 feet of 0.50mm, 100 feet of 0.75mm, 50 feet of 1.0mm, 24 feet of 1.5mm, 12 feet of 2.0mm, 9 feet of 2.5mm and 5 feet of 3.0mm. Each pack is 1 long continuous fiber so you can cut it to the sizes you need.

Plus 4 packs of colored fiber, 1 pack each: 150 feet of 0.25mm, 150 feet of 0.50mm, 75 feet of 0.75mm and 37 feet of 1.0mm. The fiber tips will light up whatever color the fiber strand is when you use a white illuminator. They light up in very bright and intense colors.

By using 1 white light source you can have 5 different colored fiber optic lights. They are very easy to cut with a hobby knife or scissors.

If you cut them into 3 or more pieces and the 2 outer pieces will light up in color and the middle pieces will light up white when used with a white light. This gives you the option of having white too. These are also great for color coding your fiber optic runs so you can keep track of where each one is going. You get an equal amount of each of the 5 colors, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Orange.

You get 12 standard size fiber optic Micro illuminators. These have a bright white LED in them with a built in resistor that lets you use any DC power source between 3 volts and 18 volts. These are very easy to install on your models and projects. These are what lights up your fiber optic fibers.

The black fiber guide tube on the end is approximately 1 inch long by 1/4 inch wide. The over all length is 8.75 inches long. You can use them with as few or as many fibers that you can fit in the tube.

From 1 fiber to 150 fibers depending on the fiber sizes. You can connect as many illuminators as you need to one 9v battery.

You get (12) 9 volt battery connectors. These make it easy to use a 9 volt battery to light up your illuminators/fiber.

These are high quality hard plastic and not the cheap vinyl type that break easy. These are appoximately 6.25 inches long. You get 12 mini switches. These switches are awesome and super easy to install. Soldering is always best but not necessary with these switches or any of these components.

These switches have holes in the terminals so jusr remove about a half inch of the insulation from the wires and then you can thread your red wire (positive) on the illuminator into one terminal and the red wire (positive) on the battery connector into the other terminal and twist them tight. Then twist the 2 black wires together. Cover the bare wires with heat shrink tubing or tape and you are all set. 24 inches of Heat Shrink Tubing, 6 4 inch tubes that you can to any sizes you need with scissors or a razor blade.

This is a easy way to cover your bare wires to prevent then from touching other bare wires or bare metal to prevent a short circuit. 30 mini 4 inch cable ties. These let you easily secure your wires or fiber optics fibers to your project or bundle them together. 16 feet of extra hook up wire, 4 rolls of 4 feet each. This makes it easy to make your illuminator wires longer if you want to set up your battery in a remote location.

This kit is perfect for the Scale model builder. Fiber optic lighting gives you a super easy way to add just the right size lights to your projects.
